To capture the mood of a nameless cypress swamp, brooding
under the static light of North Florida summers…
To express the atmosphere of misty sea-marshes in the
morning sunlight…
To preserve in cool blue-green tints , the water and
the sky of Gulf beaches, the play of light and shade on
white dunes, and the lively green of the sea oats…
To depict, in angry grays, and blue-blacks, the violence
of the storm-whipped sea, towering waves breaking their
crest luminous in the somber light filtered through the
broken clouds:
These are some of the challenges that have inspired
the paintings of Victoria Bush.
Born and educated in Hungary, Victoria Bush was trained
in cartography, but painting has become her true vocation.
She does much of her paintings in her studio over looking
East St. Andrew Bay, as well as conducting art classes
at the family own and operated Gallery, Bay Art &
Frame, 1109 Beck Ave. Panama City Florida. We are proud
to present her works.
